Event Description

Build It is a hands-on structural design competition that challenges participants to apply engineering fundamentals, creativity, and teamwork.

Teams will construct a model structure using limited materials within a fixed time frame. The focus is on strength, stability, efficiency, and smart structural planning.

Participants must enter as a team and construct a Beam, Bridge, or Building model that will later be tested for load-bearing capacity and stability.

Round Details

Phase 1 – Technical Quiz

All registered teams will participate in a technical quiz to test their core engineering knowledge. Top-performing teams will qualify for the construction round.

Phase 2 – Construction Challenge

Qualified teams must design and build a Beam / Bridge / Building model using the provided materials within 45–60 minutes.

After construction, structures will undergo load and stability testing to evaluate their performance.

Guidelines

• No external materials allowed.
• Structures must be built within specified dimensions.
• Pre-made or pre-assembled components are strictly prohibited.
• Teams may build Beam, Bridge, or Building structures.
• Creativity and innovation are encouraged.

⚠ Violation of rules will lead to disqualification.

Judges’ decision will be final and binding.
