Retaining Wall Model
Rigid Retainer is a structural challenge where participants apply engineering principles to design and construct a retaining wall model.
Teams must build a stable structure using the provided materials and demonstrate its ability to resist lateral pressure during testing.
All registered teams will participate in a technical quiz to test their fundamental engineering knowledge. Top-performing teams will qualify for the construction round.
Qualified teams must construct a retaining wall model using the provided materials within 45β60 minutes.
After construction, the wall will undergo a load and stability test where lateral pressure will be applied to evaluate performance.
β Violation of rules or use of unauthorized materials will lead to disqualification.
Judgesβ decision will be final and binding.
The team whose wall withstands the maximum load or remains stable without failure will be declared the winner.
